"Daily Sports" news, some Barcelona executives think it is best to resign before the no-confidence vote review is completed.
The article stated that out of loyalty considerations, the vast majority of executives around Bartomeu will stick to the end, but they also believe that they need to avoid becoming the first in Barcelona’s history because of the public’s vote of no confidence. The board of directors who had to resign, in analogy, Bartomeu is like Mariano Rajoy (Spanish Prime Minister Rajoy was removed in a vote of no confidence on June 1, 2018).
Barcelona will decide next week what to do next. There is no doubt that all circumstances will not be ruled out, such as Bartomeu choosing to resign. But what is certain is that there may be an earthquake inside Barcelona next week.
